  • Our Funding & Governance

BeLonG To Youth Services aspires to the highest levels of governance and openness in all of our work to eliminate homophobia and transphobia and support those LGBT young people and families in need.

BeLonG To works with more than 1,500 lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans young people and families each year. We are an organisation with an annual expenditure of €720,000. We work with vulnerable LGBT young people and their families across Ireland.

We employ qualified and skilled staff who work in very sensitive situations with young people who have very complex needs to change their lives for the better. Our direct work with young people and families is supported by professional expertise in the areas of finance, governance, advocacy, communications & fundraising.

We recieve statutory funding for a number of our projects and programmes, all aimed at changing the experiences lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans young people have growing up. Each of these projects and services operates under a service level agreement and we provide detailed reports to our funders on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

Our statutory income in 2015 was 75%. Our voluntary income was 25% in 2015 up from 17% in 2014 and 6.33% in 2012.
