We collect data when you subscribe to our newsletter and communications, send a query, make a request for help or support, register for a training, attend an event, or avail of one of our support services. By the very nature of our organisation, all data collected by us is considered special category (sensitive) data and is handled accordingly.
On occasions you may divulge personal sensitive information to us, or, we may request information from you, such as dietary requirements for an event.
Where we collect sensitive personal data, we will only request the information required for the specified purpose and will always ask for your explicit consent. You can modify or remove consent at any time, which we will act on immediately, unless there is a legitimate interest or legal reason for not doing so.
Your Data – Photo’s, Video, and Audio
We may from time to time host events with photographer’s and videographer’s present. We encourage photos, video, and audio recordings for posterity, marketing, advocacy and promotion. If you wish to have a copy of the photograph, please contact us.

BeLonG To does not carry out automatic decision-making, however, we do use the data to systematically analyse (profile) personal data we hold on our database. We do this for the purposes of effective communication and service provision, to ensure cost-effectiveness and relevance of our communication to you and the services we provide. You may be identified through this analysis for a specific communication campaign or offer of service. However, you will be informed about this as soon as possible, but at the latest when we contact you as a result of such profiling by reference to this privacy statement.
We may sometimes use geo-demographic and/or other personal information (including sensitive personal information) which may include identification of individuals’ capacity to give, through a process called ‘wealth screening’, using publicly available information sources. We may also carry out our own research into our supporters, again using publicly available information or information that you provide us with. This allows us to tailor our fundraising and marketing activities to make them as appropriate as possible for our supporters and reflect their interests as closely as possible.
We may sometimes use geo-demographic and/ or other personal information (including sensitive personal information) which may include identification of individuals health or wellbeing status, through a process of systematic review of our database. We may also carry out our own research into our service users, using publicly available information or information that you provide us with. This allows us to tailor our programs and services to best reflect the needs and interests of those accessing our services as closely as possible.

We use third-parties to provide services and business functions listed below. We do have external links to third party websites, which are visibly defined as such throughout the website. We are not responsible for the content or privacy policies of these other websites.
We use a both Microsoft Office 365 and Salesforce to provide IT services including email, databases, and data storage to the organisation. Both companies are compliant with the GDPR and all data stored on those systems is securely held in line with GDPR. Your data will be processed by these companies if you email BeLonG To, submit a request through our website, call us, attend one of our services/ groups, or make a donation online.

When you display a page that has an embedded video, a connection will be made to the YouTube server and the content will appear on the BeLonG To Website via a communication to your browser. Each time the BeLonG To Website receives an access request equipped with a LinkedIn component, the component prompts your browser to download an image of this component from LinkedIn. Through this process, LinkedIn is informed exactly which page of the TI Ireland Website is being accessed. By clicking the LinkedIn “recommend button“ while logged into your LinkedIn account, you can link content from the BeLonG To Website to your LinkedIn profile. This allows LinkedIn to associate your visit to our site with your LinkedIn account.
Making a donation by Credit Card (Stripe)
For the purpose to proceed with payments we use Stripe. Stripe is a service from Stripe, Inc, 185 Berry Street, Suite 550, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Your data will be sent to a server operated by Stripe, Inc in the United States.
