National Network of LGBTQ+ Youth Workers

Are you a Youth Worker who supports LGBTQ+ young people? Would you like to join an empowering, supportive space to share resources and best practice?

The National Network of LGBTQ+ youth groups support Youth Workers to create safe spaces close to home for LGBTQ+ youth across Ireland.

Since 2007, we have worked in partnership with national youth organisations such as Foróige, Crosscare, Youth Work Ireland and local youth and community services that provide LGBTQ+ youth groups to create a standardised model of LGBTQ+ youth work and best practice across Ireland.

LGBTQ+ young people live in communities, towns and cities across every county in Ireland. The aim of the National Network is to ensure that these young people have access to dedicated, high-quality youth services and supports wherever they live in Ireland.

  • You can showcase this collaborative work as evidence of its commitment to the inclusion of LGBTQ+ young people.
  • Collaborate with Belong To, the leading voice in LGBTQ+ youth work since 2003 on national campaigns to amplify the voice and needs of LGBTQ+ youth.
  • Provide an additional supportive space for your staff.
  • Receive up-to-date materials, supports and resources around best-practice LGBTQ+ youth work.
  • Celebrate Dublin Pride Festival with groups from across the country.
