Thanks for your interest in working with BeLonG To Youth Services. We are hiring a Development Worker and a Fundraising Assistant.

Development Worker

Hours: Full-time, 35hrs per week

Salary: €40,000 per annum

Term: 1-year contract, renewable subject to funding and performance

BeLonG To’s vision is for an Ireland where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex (LGBTI+) young people are equal, safe, and valued in the diversity of their identities and experiences. We work with LGBTI+ young people as equals to achieve our vision through youth work, changing attitudes, and research.

The Development Worker will ensure youth services across Ireland are safe, inclusive and welcoming spaces for LGBTI+ young people. They will support the National Network Coordinator with targeted and mainstream youth services by providing information, advice, and training in relation to best practice, policy and programmes.

The Development Worker will also play a key role in BeLonG To’s training and education services to relevant professionals who work with young people including teachers as part of our annual Stand Up campaign in second-level schools around Ireland and also mental health training to professionals working with young people

Fundraising Assistant

Hours: Full-time, 35hrs per week

Salary: €24,391 per annum

Term: 12-month contract, renewable subject to funding and performance

Application Deadline: 9.00 am Monday 1st February

Interview Date:  Friday 19th February

In this role you will, with guidance, support the implementation of the organisations ambitious fundraising strategy. There is enormous potential in the role for an enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for human rights and equality.
