Belong To Appoints Youth-Culture Leader Kieran O’Donovan as New CEO 

Today marks an exciting milestone for Belong To. Following an extensive search and recruitment process, our Board of Directors is delighted to announce that Kieran O’Donovan (he/him) has been appointed as our new Chief Executive Officer. 

Kieran is a proud Cork native who brings 18 years of experience in in purpose-led, strategic leadership and brand and communications innovation. Kieran joins from THINKHOUSE, where as Head of Client Service he led client partnerships and strategic growth for global brands. 

Why Kieran is the right leader for this moment: Our community is navigating a rapidly changing landscape – from online misinformation to a shifting social climate. Kieran’s background in high-level communications and digital innovation means Belong To will be better equipped than ever to: 

• Amplify Youth Voices: Giving LGBTQ+ young people the platform they deserve to shape their own futures. 

• Strengthen our Services: Ensuring our crisis counselling, youth groups, and family supports remain robust and accessible. 

• Modernise our Advocacy: Reaching young people and allies where they are with impactful, digital-first campaigns.
